Hot Tub Balboa Retrofit – Scarborough

 

Customer Claire in Scarborough contacted us to assist with her poorly hot tub to see if we could fix the hot tub.

It had been switched for some time and when it was turned back on, a fault was showing on the main hot tub board indicating a main circuit board failure on the Gecko control pack.  We discussed the options with her and advised the fitting of  a Balboa GS pack which would do away with the troublesome Gecko equipment.

We went along, armed with lots of new equipment, Paul and Sheldon fitted the new pack, wired up the lighting and the pump and adjusted the pipework to accommodate the new setup.

Whilst we were there, we carried out a full hot tub service which included a full anti bacterial flush, clean and polish of the interior shell and exterior cabinet, chemical cleaning of the filter and UV protection applied to the cabinet and thermal cover.
